Beloved

Daily post. The challenge is, share a picture of your beloved things.

In this picture you may see four beloved things.

Firstly, my beloved husband to whom I’m already married for 32 years.

The little boy next to him is our beloved grandson. We see them not very often, but when we do, we have a wonderful time with the children. We do everything to make the time with them very special, something that we remember and, we believe, they will remember.

Then there is our beloved dog. She is with us for more than nine years now. She taught me how to love a Rhodesian Ridgeback and nowadays she teaches our young dog all the things a good dog must know.

The fourth item is our beloved beach at Struisbaai. Since I was eight years old, we went there for our holidays. Struisbaai has the longest beach in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the nicest things to do there, is to go for a long walk on the beach. One New Years Eve, many years ago, my boyfriend asked me to marry him and put a ring on my left hand on that very same beach. ❤ It is the same person that is on this picture of my beloved things. 😁

    1. Dit was eintlik glad nie romanties nie. Om die waarheid te sê, ek dink nie hy het my ooit regtig gevra nie. Dit was eerder ‘n gemeenskaplike besluit. Die grootste gevaar was dat die ring in die sand kon val en waar kry ons dit dan?
