Selling on Amazon – Verkoop jou ware op Amazon

Hello, I’ll write this blog in both Afrikaans and English because I really want to hear what you have to say. I’m sure that my blog friends will help me.  Ek het ‘n paar vrae rondom die verkoop van items op Amazon, ek weet my blogmaats sal my help.

  1. Is daar ‘n plek waar ek kan oplees hoe jy te werk gaan as jy op Amazon wil verkoop? Ek wil my boek (harde kopie) op Amazon bemark. Is there some place where I can read about selling on Amazon? I want to sell my book (hard copy) on Amazon.
  2. Hoe gemaak as ‘n mens in Suid-Afrika woon en ‘n harde kopie boek het wat jy op Amazon wil verkoop? Het jy dit dalk al gedoen? Pos ‘n mens self die boeke vir die kopers, of moet jy 50 boeke vir Amazon in Amerika pos en hulle stuur dit uit? I live in South Africa. How do I sell my real books (not e-books) on Amazon? Do I have to send it to the buyers of do I have to send 50 books to Amazon in America, do they stock it and send it to the people? Is there a way in which I can send it myself to the buyers?
  3. Wat is die koste? Is daar ‘n maandelikse fooi? Is daar stoorkoste per item? What is the cost? Do they have a monthly fee? Do they have a storage fee per item?
  4. Is dit maklik om op Amazon te verkoop, of is daar baie nonsensies? Do you find it easy to sell on Amazon, or do they have lots of hassles, especially for South Africans?
  5. Watter raad kan jy vir my gee? Waarvoor moet ek uitkyk? Wat is die moets en die moenies? Waarvoor moet ek versigtig wees? What advice can you give me? What are the things to be careful of? 
  6. Moet ‘n mense eerder deur ‘n agent werk, of kan jy dit self sommer doen? Do you need an agent, or is it possible to do it yourself?
  7. Die betaling. Hoe ontvang jy jou geld in ‘n Suid-Afrikaanse bankrekening, of mag jy deur Paypal werk. How do you get your money? Is it paid into your South African Bank account, or do they pay through Paypal?

  3. https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=180497 kan ‘n probleem wees…Suid Afrika verskyn blykbaar nie op die lys van goedgekeurde lande nie wanneer jy aansoek doen vir ‘n ‘Amazon Sellers’s Account’.. Onder kommentare het victoria_regency gesê ‘In order to be paid, you need a bank account in one of the listed countries.’ en FBA sê ‘He might be able to sell … and mail the items out … but getting paid is the real test’.
    Sal ook by iemand navraag doen wat op eBay boeke verkoop. rOn
