Normally, when I am at home and go for a walk with my dog, I do more than 5 km every time.
I am on holiday now, so I don’t necessarily do 5 km all at once. But I still want to participate in the WWWP5K.
So today me and my husband are at Echuca, Victoria, Australia and went for a walk, not 5 km in total, tonight we are going for a walk again, and tomorrow again and by then we would have exceeded the 5 kms.
We walked in the streets of Echuca and to the river. Here are a few of the pictures that I took. The internet is not very good, so it is quite a challenge to upload pictures.
Echuca is a beautiful town next to the Murray River and the Port of Echuca takes you back in time. One can go on a cruise on a paddlesteamer. You can even go on a one night trip or two night trip on the Emmylou, the oldest paddlesteamer on the river.
They had lots of rain and the Murray River is at this stage 3 metres higher than normal and they expect it to rise even more.
