A while ago I started a new blog, an English one, for LCHF.
When the English Toortsie’s Banting Bash was published I realised that I have to get the attention of the English readers. Yes, sometimes I write something in English on this blog of mine, but when an English person visits my blog, it is like a needle in a haystack to find the one or two English posts.
I am very self-conscious about my writing in English. I know that it is not perfect and sometimes I think that, while I want to convince English people to buy my book, I rather offend them! But I try my best and hopefully the publicity will be worth-while. I can’t ask my English friends every time that I want to write something on that blog, to rewrite it for me! I am sure, that over time, the writing will become easier and better. I tried the spellcheck and grammar check in Word, I deliberately made faults, but the spellcheck didn’t notice it. I don’t know what I did wrong.
The good news is that the book itself is translated by somebody who really knows his work, Marius Swart, a translator at the University of Stellenbosch.
In the mean time, I write blog posts about LCHF, about my own journey since I started with this lifestyle. My wish is to help others, to answer their questions, to make it easier for them. If I could help only one person, I’ll be happy!
